Harvest Soup Tasting

11-26-2019 16:00 - 17:30
Address: 2541 Lac De Ville Blvd

This is a parent-child event at pick-up time. The Harvest Soup making is our way of celebrating the season’s bountiful gifts. Each classroom (toddler(2C) and older) will have a sign-up in the classroom for parents to contribute a soup item. Children and teachers will create a soup that adheres to our food philosophy (no nuts, no chocolate, additive free, preservative free) and be ready to share with parents at pick-up time. We believe that children learn best through play and when they are able to fully engage all of their senses. The textures, smells, and tastes from the various ingredients provide an unmatched organic experience with an ability to enthrall, entice, and spur a sense of wonder in the children’s eyes. As educators, we foster each child’s independence and encourage the exploration of culinary creations, igniting a sense of accomplishment which provides an insatiable desire to push boundaries while we work together to create tantalizing results. Let’s eat! (NAEYC)
