CCB Kindergarten Program:

- encourages problem solving
- promotes creative and positive self esteem
Children are offered the opportunity to navigate and negotiate their world by:
- working and playing in a small, intimate community
- encouraging respect for self, others and their environment
- time and the ability to practice taught skills
The Kindergarten teacher intentionally plans themes exposing children:
- integrating language experiences
- mathematical exploration
- science inquiry
- social studies concepts
Indoor and outdoor play is an important part of our Kindergarten day.
- Use of manipulatives and encouraging observation
- Questioning and thinking skills
Group sizes are varied, enabling the Kindergarten teacher to support a variety of learning styles.
Low child to teacher ratio enables us to provide an individualized reading and writing program for each child.
